Authorized Servicer Overview
The Canon Authorized Servicer (AS) Program is designed specifically for Resellers who want to provide direct service to their customers. This program is designed to allow the Resellers to maintain long-term relationships with their accounts by directly managing their customers' service requirements.

Eligibility Requirements (Minimum)
To become an Authorized Servicer, the Reseller must have on-site service capability. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Company employed field technicians capable of being trained on the Canon DR-Scanner models that they are expected to service
- A service dispatch desk capable of receiving customer calls and dispatching service calls
- Service administration staff with the ability to submit warranty claims, administer maintenance agreements and invoice for service
- A parts department to purchase and maintain a spare parts inventory

Technical Support Center
In the event assistance is required by the Authorized Servicer for the support of a DR-Scanner, Canon USA’s Technical Support Center will provide support and problem escalation for the Authorized Servicer. The Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830) will provide second level support for DR Scanner Authorized Servicers only. A valid Support ID is required to access the Technical Support Center.

Internet Support
Canon USA’s Systems and Technical Support Division provides high quality e-Support via the Internet and is only available for Canon USA Authorized Servicer’s.
Canon e-Support is designed to give Authorized Servicer Technicians access to technical support information via the Worldwide Web.
Warranty Reimbursement
The limited warranty that comes with the DR Scanner provides free service and repair for 90 days from date of delivery to the end-user customer. Authorized Servicers are responsible to perform warranty service for their DR-Scanner customer base. Resellers will be reimbursed for labor and parts used in performing the warranty service when Canon’s policy requirements are followed.
National Support
Should an Authorized Servicer resell a Canon extended warranty plan to
an end-user outside their geographical service area, the end-user will
receive support through Canon’s Third Party Servicer.
